Jay Peak & Smugglers Notch just picked up 25-30"
More snow hit up North on the West facing mountains than South or East areas this time.
Friends down in the Ludlow & Dover VT area only saw traces to around 6".
Hopefully the cold temps hold the line for the next wave coming this weekend.
If temps rise, its a rain freezing rain mess.
 for holding the line.

oh I agree, jay is not my favorite at all either for exactly the reasons you mentioned. The only time I head up there is to snowmobile.
Bolton Valley is the best. I get a $225 no restrictions seasons pass military rate that includes night skiing. but as of today, the ski area is for sale. :(
Stowe only if someone else pays lol...
I like Sugarbush, Okemo & Mt. Snow too.

The mountain will stay the owners are looking for more investors.
    Keeping my fingers crossed.
yeah it gets beat up/shunned a lot.
Many say their best vertical is the road to get up there
I like it for the price and no lines & good snow. Could care less about the amenities. Keep the lifts working & they have a fantastic Burton snow park for the boarders.

If we get hit w/ that storm, I think I'm taking a sick day on Monday to ride mountain creek. Can you tell I've got my fingers crossed on that weather system taking a west-northwest turn once it gets to us :D

Subscribing to see what's going on. Finally got around to dropping off my board for a tune-up. I'm way late this season!

Hoping for a trip to Mt Snow in a couple of weeks with some friends. :)

For local stuff I usually hit up Blue Mtn in PA. My folks have a place 15 miles from there so it ends up being a convenient, cheap trip.

The terrain parks at Blue are insane. They actually just installed an air bag last year so practicing big air jumps doesn't hurt anymore. :p

It's worth checking out. Just north of Allentown, PA.
