try looking on YouTube..I guess it all depends on what your looking for ..also it is a shame with what gas prices are doing ..also depends on what your using your truck for .fixing shift points better response, and better fuel mileage than stock is still super positives it doesn't have to be a race truck and it would be fun for a bit but after a while your right it would be expensive and you would need a replace...I would say do what makes u happy ..but things to think about . It's on all our minds lol.

 

i plan on getting this tune as well, i will prob get the 87 to start, if i feel i need more power ill get the 91. Id rather do that then get 91 along with the 91 gas prices. If you wanted to sell your truck i think having it OVtuned would be a good selling point?

 

Possible, you may be right. I just didn't want to sell it down the road to a non-tacoma enthusiast like ourselves, and them to put in 87 and the truck then runs like shit. Side note: I have no interest in selling this truck for a very long time.

 

Haha yeah I dont blame you for not selling, if you did just have to tell them by the way you can only use 91 octane haha

 

I think there is a lot of other big improvements other than performance with these tunes.

1. AGM battery boost
2.Bigger wheels
3.shift points adjusted

I want the previous ovtune not sure on 2.0 I heard but not sure u do 87 but u use ect button so confused on that ..but def need some fixes .been looking foward to it ..better shifting better gas mileage. just the way Toyota should have done it from day one ..would like to know where north east tuning is located in ct ...I live here ..ive had 3 Toyota..this one is different then my 04 .but can't go wrong with a tacoma in any way

 

Why exactly do you want a previous version? The 2.0 tunes are much better.

Aside from that I don't really know what else you are asking.

 

I'm not really sure I dont want to use ect for power on 87 ..I guess I would need to know more about it ..I like ect the way it is not having to use it and it doing what it does when I want ..some people had both and liked the previous version on 87..I guess I could try different ones like u said what I like.

 

also I watched a review on both and the person chose the other version opposed to 2.0 and he had both ..
