So, obviously you're going to see @Subway4X4, but... Depending on how things will work out, maybe I'll be able to run into you on Saturday (afternoon?).
Also, @Subway4X4, are you still driving into Manhattan from time to time, or is that a thing of a past?

Aaaaand, since I've butchered your tag before @fatfurious2, I'm re-tagging @RobP62 just in case.

 

My trip up was going to just be about food. My gf will be joining me also, and I kinda told her that we were just going to be going to Lloyd's place, and then Queens to park the car.

Ill be taking the Holland Tunnel out, and most likely leaving on saturday evening to drive back to VA. Yes Im crazy and Ill drive up to NYC for some authentic chinese food/dim sum/Little Italy cannoli's, and then drive home. Im not sure how far away you are from Queens.

I wonder if @TacomaJoe23 is home?

 

First of all, this is a perfectly reasonable thing to do! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!

So, like I've mentioned a while back I live in Staten Island, but I work out of Greenpoint (and I work Saturdays). Depending on your schedule, maybe I could swing by towards wherever you'd be. And since that'll be such short visit, I'm not going to take up your time. We can iron out the details out by Friday, as long as you'll be able to get the topper from @RobP62

 

I'm willing to meet David anywhere along his route. I didn't ask when he posted only because the only way we're fitting that Softopper in his car is completely unpacked. I have it in 3 boxes. Not including the cleaning/protectant bottles. I'm ok with that too.

I'm easy to get along with.

 

Tomorrow ill get you some interior dimensions of my seats folded down. I hope it will fit.

Yeah well... How big of the box/boxes/package is this thing?? I mean, if it's too large and too much pita to fit into a Fit, or hand-off too much out of way , than I'll wait for next opportunity

@fatfurious2 I’ll also chime in and say that I do not need to hijack your day! If you’re going for fun don’t go outta your way for the skids. They’ll work their way down eventually.

 

no worries. We are just going for a spur of the moment trip for V day. Better than the trip to Harper's Ferry WV that I had originally planned. I wanted her to meet @Subway4X4 anyways. He is a character!

I have family in Queens, so Im sure Ill be up again soon.

Two are 2"x16"x5' and the third is about 8"x8"x5'.

Typically I will only drive north to Delaware but I want to add York, Pa. to my travels. I recently ran up there and picked up an exhaust for @TwistedTLM4 and it wasn't too bad. It's about the same time and distance for me.
