    Mine has a clean title. Im in the car an extra 1000 after a $500 downpipe and 450 in engine mount parts. I put new tires on it because I wanted to be safe and the brakes were just done and I inspected them as well. They are fine for atleast another 30k. Engine runs like a top and only thing that doesn't work currently is AC and the cooling fans for the radiator which will be fixed tomorrow for 80 bucks. New fan and witing it direct to ignition powered system so it comes on and runs all the time

    :gossip: the hose to fix on the way home was $5 water was about $7 and the coolant was a total of 60 and I still have plenty of extra...

    The car is 16 years old and has all its doors hood fenders bumpers trunk lid and a clean title... and it only drives on road so no worries about breaking it offroad cause we all know jeeps break ALOT... i am still not into the car in REPAIRS over 1000.

    When oil leaks on a hose it breaks down the rubber and causes it to fail. When a fucking shitty mechanic does a timing belt and cross threads the motor mount bolts and doesn't tell anyone and REUSES the stretch bolts before you owned the car you can't do anything about it. Car runs smooth now... ill be happy when it lasts me 2 years. Don't care if it lasts longer. By then Ill get something else.

    Anything I do to the car now is just going to be a refurbish. What I want to do because it makes me feel safe. I wouldn't drive a car I wouldn't feel comfortable to drive someone else around in.

    I also didn't have 4 grand to throw at a car. And I liked this one and always wanted a VW. Its pricey to fix yes but its what I kinda always wanted and the opportunity presented itself. All it needs now is the fans and it will give me what I want. Ill install a catch can on it to prolong its lofe as well but thats something that should be on every vehicle ever
