I believe David already has the handlebars, so I wonder if you could meet him today, then I can come south to meet you on Saturday, then meet @TwistedTLM4 on Sunday.

    Zach,
The only one we haven't heard from is @Tennessee98 , who is the closest to Skipwith. I guess the weight is what is driving up the shipping cost? I wonder if Fastenal shipping is available and cheaper.

Also, one thing I found out being a part of all this is that odd shaped packages can be shipped via USPS, and most of the time it is cheaper than FedEx or UPS.

Yea, you just need to measure the girth like you do with UPS. LxWxH for oversized and weight.

FedEx and UPS go by size, weight and distance. USPS goes by size and weight. Or at least for smaller boxes. I used to work at UPS for a few years

Right but UPS uses the Girth method for oversized packages, or they use to. As a matter of fact, when I use to be a shipping manager at a local restaurant supplier, UPS supplied a chain you used to first wrap around the package and then the remainder of the chain had to touch the surface of whatever the package was on.

It's a set of handlebars for @LooseNut but David might just hop on his scooter and make the drive. His people are checking with his people.
