I would love if you joined me. As of right now, I would be looking at Sat June 5th. Leaving about 7am in the morning to be there for 11am and then back for 4pmish depending upon traffic.

Hey Rob. All is well here. Been pretty busy with work (self employed). Have a couple weeks off for some fly-fishing adventures here in Maine.

We're busy as well, we decided to finally adopt a dog. So we're learning how to be proper dog parents. It's a challenge at our age with a sixteen month old. She's a great dog though and no trouble at all. It's something the wife and I have waited forever for. Every day is better than the one before.

So I do practice catch & release in these remote places that I fish. Mainly because these ponds hold 100% native/wild brook trout populations (never been stocked). And Maine is one of the last places where these native populations can be found. Some do have an overabundance of fish and generous daily limits and I'll keep some to eat on those ponds. Some of these ponds used to have limits in the lbs back in the early 1900's so they can support a lot being kept. I call them trout factories. And then there's the stocked bodies of water....put & take as I like to call them. Those are always to fill the fry pan and freezer.

I'm debating driving to West Milford, NJ to pick something up, which is pretty close to that zip. Then I could have them back in Mechanicsville VA. Still not sure if I'm gonna drive up there, but I'll let you know

 

I could potentially drive up there and pick items up once purchase has been arranged. I could then get them as far south as Christiana, DE where @RobP62 might be able to get further south.

 

I'd owe you guys big time! I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on the purchase. No pressure, but let me know.

 

Hey There @TwistedTLM4 , If you had a chance to get up there, that would be great. Trying to avoid an 8hr round trip lol, but if not, no sweat. If you're able to get them both to Christiana DE, I can pick them up from there during the week and drive them to Mechanicsville VA on the weekend. @VABeachTacoTrail , If you could meet me in Mechanicsville VA one weekend, then I could get it to you that way.

Morning Mark,
I was just bustin' your nads Brother. It's guys like you that help ensure the same resources for future generations of outdoorspersons (pc). It's also nice to know you do enjoy the taste of fresh fish. I fished a lot as a kid. Rivers, creeks, reservoirs, bay, ocean. It's all fun and we all know, any shitty day fishing is better than the best day at work. I prefer crabbing to fishing though. Especially when I am picking the largest one out of the sluff box.
