All, anyone have anything that needs to come from NYC back up North? I’ll have a little space on my trip back up. I’ll be in Queens this afternoon, NYC the rest of the weekend, and leaving Monday morning back up.

I'm at work at 4am during the week. I can leave them at the curb if you want to come out to Islip and grab them but I cannot guarantee the scrap guy won't grab them first.

 

Right and I am not going 2 plus hours out of my way to give away leaf springs. If you can grab them, great. If not, they will be here when you can.

Long shot - Augusta Maine down to Portland or further south next Saturday the 11th?

I am not sure what you are asking...are you wanting to get a bicycle from Augusta to Portland ON the 11th? Or is it possible for the bike to be picked up earlier than that and transported south and held there until you come up on the 11th? My wife works in Augusta Monday through Friday so getting it to Topsham is easy and it might be doable to get it to @Spare Parts in Saco before the 11th.

 

Yes that’s what I am asking about. It’s a road bike size bike, I am going up to Portland next Saturday the 11th, just for the day. If I can’t get it sorted down to Portland before that, I will just go up and grab it then. It’s 1 hour each way on the goog.

The shop is open Thurs-Sat 12-5 or 6 ish, from what I can tell. I saw it for sale on facebook and talked to the guy.

Let me know - 2 less hours of driving would be bitchin’ but, on the flipside, it’s only 2 hours

 

Just let me know, I will not be able to head north this week. And I don’t have a truck bed to toss shit into anymore

 

I’ll shoot the guy a message later and see if he can take venmo or some other sort of payment and see if someone else can get it.

It’s a clean/new bike, so shouldn’t need a bed. “Worst” comes to worst, I can just boogie up to Augusta while I’m up there, not the end of the world.

EDIT: ABORT MISSION! Frame is 60cm, so I want to give it a spin before I buy it, should fit but I don’t want to risk it if I have the chance to ride it before I buy it.
