Wow, big move. Better housing and job options in the big smoke?

Hosing prices are nothing compared to lower mainland, it’s very affordable here.

I’m starting my own business here so hopefully I will do well. Worked for a company for 10 years and got sick of dealing with so many people that simply can’t do their job. Typical corporate BS…

Oh man, I’m loving it here. So much more relaxed, quiet, no traffic and people are so much friendlier. Pretty much every household here has a dog so that’s pretty awesome too.

Hey good for you! Congratulations on your new venture. Besides the better opportunities there must be endless trails out there too. Be sure to check in here often.

All the best with the new business.

I've spent the past 20 years living and working in rural BC, The first few years a trip to the coast was fun and there was always cool stuff to catch up on. Now I dread trips to the city and can't get the hell out of there fast enough. I have no idea how folks do it.

The north (LOL Hoof City is geographical centre) isn't for me though. I've spent many years working in the Cariboo as a second home. Ice off the lakes in late May, community Fall Fairs in mid August, snow on the ground at Halloween. I prefer my summers a bit longer than that.

    Thanks man!

So far it’s pretty warm here, wearing flip flops, shorts and T-shirt. Nice and warm when the sun is up. At night it’s a different story though, my new fire pit is coming in handy!
