This is one of those things that is beautiful but sad at the same time. I pray for all those affected by these fires.
Don’t see to many good photos of the fires but I love those. I took some when the Mullen fire was only like 17,000 acres that came out decently.

Watching the fire in Masonville right now from my parents back porch in Loveland on taft. Fire is 8 miles from the house so helping get ready to leave if needed. Stay safe everyone. Saw the fire is less than 2 miles from horsetooth rock as well.

Taft and 57th, new neighborhood behind the Walmart. Watching the flames come up the hogback, gnarly fire if you look right down 57th towards the mountains. Flames poking up over the ridges.

I think that’s because of the Cal-Wood fire that started to east of Allenspark this afternoon. Bad situation all along the northern front range!

Taken just a few miles west of us.

    Un. Fucking. Real.

So far the evacuation orders have stopped just east of 75th St, so we’re good for now.

Yea and that fire exploded real fast. 7k acres in a few hours.

The Cameron fire in west Loveland looks to have died down for now. Not sure if it's cause of smoke covering it or what. Hopefully they are able to stop the fire before it gets out of the hills.

    Thanks, Bart.

I think we’re fairly safe, but when I hear that shit is being evacuated around Taft up in Loveland, anything is possible.

Wind shifted out of the east now too. It’s cold in FoCo now. Should help slow it down tonight and tomorrow...hopefully!

This goes out to anybody in northern Colorado affected by the fires. I’ve got an extra bedroom and bathroom if anybody needs a place to crash. Don’t have a lot of space, but we can make it work. My dogs a little a-hole and I’ve got no food, but King Soopers is a block away. 970-420-1768
