Just had another fire start up in Left Hand Canyon and they’re likely evacuating Ward.

    Good grief.

Would love to know the cause, as well as the Caldwell fires cause.

Yeah, apparently most of the smoke today was from the Troublesome fire...

I saw that. The ash raining down up here is awful right now! Don’t care where it’s coming from, I’m over all of this shit!

Thankfully the forecast keeps getting better for the snow & colder. Can't come quick enough. I will take real winter over this "nuclear winter" any day.

My lady forwarded me this from Fakebook. East Troublesome from 30,000+ feet. Pretty breathtaking and terrible at the same time.

We watched troublesome spark up while hunting. Winds were damn near 60mph that day and the initial plume was more prominent than Cameron.

We were also able to drive 230 north to Laramie on our way back and observed the Mullen fire. Burned hot and low as expected, which sucks.

Friend evacuated his home last night, he’s close enough to Lake Granby that I hope it will make it, but at the rate 2020 is going anything is possible

Well... I guess the good thing is that there won’t be anything left to burn by 2021.

Yep. What a crazy fire season it's been.

Heard it jumped the divide towards Estes and into North Park as well... :annoyed:

Yep, more evacuations for Estes ordered 2 minutes ago. Elkhorn Stables is asking for Anyone with Horse trailers to contact them to help evacuate horses.

Just can’t catch a break. I can’t believe how little precipitation we’re getting this late in the year. Plenty of wind, though :(
