Kens screwed a friend out of thousands over a bad tank vent on his jeep. Havent heard much good out of them in my circle of friends. My last job, we took all of out stuff to Hawker and it was always good work and reasonable prices.

Just got off the phone with Hawker and got a quote for $50 less than Ken's ($350 vs $400+).

UPDATE for anyone interested: Hawker's took a few extra days to track down a CA certified cat for my truck, but one of the guys there, Corey, suggested that I try re-testing with a can of octane booster in the gas tank while I waited for the part to come in. Lo and behold it PASSED after I put a can of the O'Reilly brand octane booster, filled up half a tank with 91, and kept the engine revs high to keep the cat warm while waiting in line for the emissions test.

The NOx test dropped from 2.03 grams/mile to 1.6 gpm (limit is 2.0000), I'm still not sure how much of that can be contributed to the octane booster or the higher ambient temp we had today (and higher catalyst temp). Corey at Hawker's mentioned they had another Tacoma in a little while back that didn't pass, even after a cat replacement, until they added the octane booster so there must be some grain of truth to its effectiveness.

You mean the cam won’t turn in any direction? Or you turn the cam in one direction and the light doesn’t adjust at all?

Are you changing the vertical alignment? Sometimes it can bind up because the horizontal adjustment gets in the way, so you may need to throw the horizontal alignment out a little bit and then try to readjust the vertical.

Yes I need to move it down and over to the right a bit. I will have to mess with it again and see if I can figure it out.

You looking to relocate up this way, Mike? As someone who lived in Aurora twice, I can safely say it’s a huge upgrade :D

Yeah I'll be able to manage my locations from FoCo and Westminster. So looking between those area. I currently leave far east Aurora, it was the last neighborhood between Bennett, now they're squeezing in another 4k homes, a school, etc just east of me.

South fort is getting crowded. But fuck so is wellington. Lots of options up there though but out of the way for sure... East of the interstate sure looks appealing with the beautiful homes I keep seeing built. I like where I am. And I'm happy I got out of Denver
