I still obviously like the FJ wheels but those other ones didn't look bad on the silver 2nd Gen.

Thats a lovely water filled ditch. I think I would go home to. Gonna get nasty out later.

My odometer is offically "off". It looks to be off by about 1/10 of a mile. I was at .9 passing the marker and didn't hit 1.0 on my odo until after passing the 0/10 (ours count down, 0, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0, etc...) but I did not reach the 8/10s marker on the next mile.

So for about every 10 miles on my odo, it'll actually be about 11 miles traveled.
    Every 100 = 110. Every 1000 = 1100, Every 3,000 = 3300.

I can live with that. I'm still going to be traveling the same amount of miles regardless if my odo is a litte goofy now or not. I just needed to know the round about calculation as to how much it was off so that I can make adjustments.

yah, we called it quits at about 11. dang rain hasnt let us get a full week in for abuot a month now. its getting old. ditches keep caving in and we cant get to them with the track hoe right now so we have to break out the shovels and throw around some sopping wet clay way too often.

is your odo right sometimes and off others? at least it's not putting extra miles on :)

I think it's off pretty much all the time. I've trip tiked the distance from home to work a couple times and always get the same number.

Wow those DC' look great on the Mag Grey. Is it too late to add to the Christmas list?:D

BTW I got the Weather Techs in last week they look great and fit perfectly. I guess that's the first mod... I'll post pics on my profile in a few days.

What a surprise that would be, I think I'm just going to buy them sometime in January. I'm still looking around for the best prices.

I've heard those weather techs are great, I'm kind of wishing I would have got those instead of the mats I bought.

Occasionally I've been able to find stuff on craigslist or crazedlist. There was a guy here locally that was selling seat covers/ bed cover/ husky liners and other stuff from his old taco. I was a bit late someone offered him a price for the whole package and I was only interested in the seat covers. Good luck and happy shopping.

Yeah I sent the guy a few messages, but wasn't able to agree on the price... I've been looking on CL for tires and I think Ill be able to find a good deal if I just keep looking. I found a brand new set of the Nitto's in Middletown for 400 for the set of 4. I called on Sunday but wasn't able to get them till Monday. By Monday afternoon they were sold. So I'm just going to keep looking, good deals are out there, just have to keep looking.

Thanks for keeping an eye out, I appriciate it, but I'm going to go with 17's and keep the stock size tire. I might go up to a 265 70 17 depending on what I can get a better deal on. I've found a few places that have them for 150 a rim w/ free shipping. I'm just waiting for that deal thats to good to pass up to come along. Buying the rims/tires at the same time is going to be a little rough.

F*** cold and snow. The only time I like snow is when I dont have to go to work/school or when I'm snowboarding. Other than that its just a pain in the ass. I hate being cold. I need to move south where I can be on the water 365.

I hate the cold, however if I'm going to be freezing my ass off, then I damn well want to see some snow. I'll take a cold and snowy winter over just a cold ass winter, at least there is something pretty (other than road grime) to look at.

I do hate the way people around here drive in the snow. People serously going 15 MPH down the road. Bunch of whimps, and with FrontWD. I don't have a problem driving in snow, keep moving, keep momentum and I get around the city fine with a RWD vehicle.

Kinda want some snow this year, see what I can push my Tacoma trough.

I agree, the snow is better to look at then the brown/gray everything. But if it was my choice, our winters would consist of a low of about 60 degrees. That would make me :)

Those people really piss me off, people around here dont know how to drive in the snow at all. FWD is super capable in the snow, I think my Mom's Camry would handle better than my truck (in 4x2) in the snow.
