I tried but I just couldn't get the back end to kick out with the Kumhos, yet it was still fun trying.

I started my own business two and a half years ago here in Louisville and my wife has been running her own salon for 12.

I see you're in Louisville too. Contact SCORE downtown in the Federal building and they will hook you up with all the info you need. Those guys are great.

Yeah I was kind of wishing for more snow as well. I'm have a b-day party down at my farm this weekend and plan on towing a sled of some sort behind the quads. Should be alot of fun, hopefully I can make it up the drive w/ the trailer.

I'm getting 13 also... It's a combo of the cold and winter gas!! The additives they put in makes every vehicle get shitty mpg!

even my mazda is getting shitty mpg. I am only averaging in the low 20's compared to the normal 27. This is the only thing I don't miss about having a truck... gas..

I am surprised you are even getting 13 with those beefy tires you have!

question/looking for opinions.... So I have been pondering.... if I cannot find a pre taco/ 4runner for under or around 1k, I might look for a wrecked one or something of that sort and rebuild it back up (given the frame is not bent or anything it totally wrong with it). I have some mechanical experience and used to own a 93 p/u that I did quite a bit of work on. Does anyone have any opinions on whether or not I should do this or just keep saving $$? I figured it would be a fun project that I could slowly work on and build up.

I was always told to save your money and buy the best example of what you want that you can find. Buying a beater and throwing money at it will cost you WAAAAAAY more in the long run.

    Just my .02

As far as my Pirellis go, they have been handling the weather great, haven't had them off road yet, but I don't get into the mud that often anyway.

I love the way they look and ride. I've heard people complain about getting them balanced right, but I have a pretty good tire guy and all seems good to me.
