    I was looking for a land cruiser for a while but the only ones you can find are rotted out from rust. That one looks very well taken care of. You've got a cool mom if she passes on a caddy and gets an ol' school land cruiser.

    Well she still has the Escalade EXT but was going to get a new Sierra Denali b/c her EXT is a piece and she keeps dumping money into it, dumb. She just spent 2k to get the heater/headlights fixed, and last year she put 8k into suspension/fuel system. So instead of a new truck she decided to get an FJ. She has had about 4 FJ's in the past so she has a little attachment to them. From what she said this thing is perfect w/ no rust (AZ).

    that's great. give us your honest opinion in a month or so. i am interested in starting it but i can never find someone that isn't a ex-marine that has done it. i'm a desk jockey and want good results but i am skeptical still.

    good luck! I did it... first few weeks are absolutely miserable... well worth it though.

    I got mine from that seller. Took three weeks to get it, but the price was well worth it. I still need to buy the wire harness. I'm not looking forward to the install....
