That is a good lift if your going to get a bumper go with the 885s.

Also depending if you haul/tow and your budget i would go with full leafs. But thats just me a AAL might be good for you if you dont haul or tow.

If you hold outfor a month or two im having a local custom build me a bumper he might do you one i would have to ask.

When do you plan on doing this?

a lot of people do the leaf lift in the rear and add bilstein 5100's up front for about 2-2.5" of lift. I know if you go up past a certain point, you will be getting in to changing the upper control arms and all kinds of crap. Check out MAXTacoma (Neil). That is his truck a few posts back with the boat on it. He just installed 5100's in the rear with a new leaf pack from Dakar. Gave him a nice lift and he has the adjustable 5100's up front.

I know Neil was talking about having another meet this spring so we may be meeting up at his farm sometime soon.

I do haul and tow a trailer from time to time, so from the options given in that link, what do you say is my best option? I thought an AAL from that site would add to my not sagging. Id like to put 33s on there as well so I assume I can fit that on there?

If you want to run 33s you will need the 885s and a the add-a-leaf or Dakar's for the rear. You will have to trim your front inner plastic because the tires will rub. Also the mud flaps in the front will need to be removed. I have 33s and had to do all that and i could keep my stock upper control arms because of aftermarket wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing. My suggestion would be to go with the Dakars in the rear because the add-a-leaf can sag.

Well, a good evening I suppose.

Rachael and I's 1 year anniversary (of being married), went out to LongHorn Steakhouse (had a gift card and minus the kiddo) then went to look at cars.

Went back to a place I had gone earlier in the week and found a 2007 Honda Accord with 60K on it for 12 grand. Rachael drove it, fell in love. They gave us 3 g's on the shitty Reno for a trade in, less than $200/month.

We now have a new (to us) 2007 Honda Accord with 60,000 miles. Awesome little car. Got the 4 banger, love the dash lighting of the black/white, silver colored car. Wonder what I can paint on it....she might need a black "H" Emblem on the front of that thing.

Its my first "legit" mountain bike, but I took it to a trail at a local park and didn't die so I consider it a success. Pretty fun too!

 Someone saying mountain biking? :p I have been the same as you man. I haven't been on the bike since the last taco meet. my back has been fubar for a while after I got in a fight with a tree last summer. I would probably die if I got on the trails I used to hit right now. haha

Just got back from my trip. It was great overall. The truck handled the trailer w/ ease thanks to the new leaf pack. I did run into a little snag on the way home I lost the tread on my boat trailer tire. My spare wasn't isn't that great of shape so I decided to stop at Walmart on the way home a get a new one put on. FYI the people a Walmart move at snales pace. I had to take my tire off myself and wheel it into them before they could change it. I think that I probably could have cut the tire off faster myself. Anyways the trip was great, truck averaged about 9.5-10 MPG. I left her in 4th for the most part while shifting into 3rd a few times on some hills. Here are th picts that I took.

That looks nice! Where is that you went again? It must have been nice having your own ramp right there at the house.

From what I was told they prep it then spray it on. Once it is on it takes a few days to dry. I am happy I do not have to do it or pay for it!

That looks like a real nice place Neil. Hope the weather held out for ya. We're heading down to Patoka Lake for M-day later this month. There's about 12 couples that are all going to rent a house boat and the B-in-law has nice boat to run out on the lake and find swimming spots.
