haha Yeah I would get about 20 meters in and say f it... turn around and go back to the car. lol. part of it is I have lost interest a little bit too. I have found so many other expensive hobbies... namely skydiving... that has taken all my money lately.

Those are some real nice pics Neil. Some real nice scenery, a little jealous. Looked very relaxing.

Shitty about your tire. Fuckin' Goodyear tires man. Goodyear cannot make fuckin' tires.

The house is located on Lake Norman NC. Its about an hour or so north or Charlotte. It was probably the most relaxing place I have ever been. I didn't want to leave. Having your own boat ramp/dock was great. Didn't have to unload/load the boat up every day. We already made reservation for next year.

    The pictures dont do justice.

The weather was great, a little cloudy a few days and not all the warm, but the sun was HOT.

That was the last of the original tires from 97 so I'm guessing it was probably dry rotted. I should have just replaced before I left. Last year on the way to lake Norris I had the same problem. But when I got it changed they only had one tire and never really thought about it. Oh well it could have been worst and caused the boat to pull me off the road. When I went to Walmart on the way home the only tire they had was Goodyear trailer tires so I really had no choice.

I second not getting the AAL especially if you tow. It will work for about a year and then you will be saggin again. Last year I bought a Toytec AAL. It worked great for about 9 months, then I was back to sagging and bottoming out. Spend the extra money and get yourself a new leaf pack then you wont have to spend any more money in the long run. I run the 5100's in the front set at 1.85 and the Dakar leaf pack. Not sure how much lift I got in the back but my truck has a slight forward rake. When I tow she sits level.
This is with the Dakar leaf pack.
Loaded up sitting about level. This has luggage for 4 people, 3 coolers, and about 6 cases of beer, tool case, etc...

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
I too am currently pimping a loaner corolla. Thing gets ridiculous gas mileage. 73 mph on interstate was averaging 42 mpg.

Truck in for leaking timing chain cover.

I have always heard the lift doesn't really affect the mpg's too much... it is more the big tires that kill it. Can anyone back me up on that?

I just got my truck back. They charged Toyota 538.00 for the under coating.

I topped off the Corolla when I took it back and I only hand to put 8 bucks in it! :D

I am sure it is much cheaper as well

I didn't really notice a difference until i got the bigger tires. As long as you keep it under 2000rpm the MPG isn't all that bad. I'm avg. about 15-17.

    I couldn't even imagine. I spend about $8 a day.

I hope your undercoating actually sticks. I got mine done this time last year and its falling off in sheets. I've decided I'm just going to let it all fall off.
