3" lift and 33s would be awesome! Any armor or anything like that?

The 05 I'm looking at is silver (can't get away from that color, my last 2 Tacoma's were silver), 6cyl, 4x4, manual!!
I might sell the Jeep this weekend, have a guy out in Indy that wants it real bad!! I'll make some money too if I can get rid of it this weekend!
Might have the Taco sooner then I thought! Lol

Not sure yet.. It will be my daily driver and weekend toy hauler, so don't want to put too much extra weight on it now, but I have friends who make custom stuff, so maybe we could whip something up?

I really like the BHLM how long does that take? I see you have experience in the mod. If we ever get a day for a meet or something can it be done in a afternoon?

I was talking with a guy last night about his 2001 tacoma he told me that he ordered his truck with 3/4 ton undercarage and detroit locker front and rear from kerry toyota. I look in his truck it doesnt have any buttons for the said lockers he said that they automaticaly lock front and rear as soon as he puts it in 4wd..Is that the truth or was he just a drunk country idiot. Theres alot of them in owenton.

Ive never heard of anything like that.

    http://www.offroaders.com/tech/Detroit-Locker-automatic-lockers.htm

Looks like they do make them but the article does not say they engage when 4wd is turned on.

edit... I guess he was telling the truth...

    http://jeep-forums.4wd.com/archive/index.php/t-6897.html

    Go down to "dogbone"

"An automatic locker has fewer things to go wrong, but causes changes in driving characteristics (squirrelly, I think you called it earlier). You will really notice it in the rear differential driving on the street. The front will not be noticable when you are in 2WD, but will lock the front when you put it in 4WD. Since power is always going to the rear differential, you'll always notice this squirrelly condition with an automatic locker in the rear differential."

Sold the Jeep TJ.. Made a little money on it also!! :)

So, the quest for a taco begins.. The silver one just sold today! Boo!! So, I am going to check out a few 03's double cabs and a 05 black TRD pre-runner... I know, I know.. It's 2wd, but it is nice and I'd consider it if they take my offer.
Thing is, it's a shitty time of the month to buy vehicles!! We will see what happens!

I believe that sending Bob a PM is the only way to get a TW sticker. Did you send him your address/name in the first PM?

Nice piece you got.... been wanting a HG myself but haven't had the $$$.

Yea i sent him all the info that he would need to mail out a sticker. I even asked sockmonkey to make me one but he declined said i should pm tcbob again so i did and nothing dosent even confirm that i pm'd.
Also i own several guns they are just a blast to shoot. Gonna hunt this year with my buddy. Im thinking of picking up either a marlin or winchester 30/30 for deer season.

now that the boat is needing fixed thats even less you have for a gun. :bananadead:
I know a lot of people pm him and they don't get responses back. Give it a little while. I think he sends stickers out once he gets so many people lined up

sucks man but I guess that is one thing about having a boat. My uncle brought his boat out for the first time of the season last year and it immediately threw a rod. Same thing happened to him the season before. he was pissed to say the least. 5k later and he just put a whole new motor in the thing
