Does anyone know the red river gorge/Slade/ Daniel Boone area well. I know it pretty well from climbing there for years, but how do I get the scoop on where the good trails are? I know some fun easy trails around the climbing areas, but was looking to find some new areas to do some easy to moderate wheelin. I know there is a lot of private land and national/state land, I just don't know where people go just to wheel. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks MillerTime. Do have any directions to the trails like what roads they are off of? I have been on south fixer before and the trail to pocket wall is cool. I will be down there soon when the weather warms up a bit. Going to do some camping and hiking with my two boys (5 & 7). If anyone will be going down this spring let me know, I would love to meet up with some good folks. There used to be some sweet trails in the southern region but the oil companies put up gates and you can't get to them any more.

Going a different direction or what?

Unrelated: Went to Bogarts monday night to watch Chevelle. Parked in some parking garage down the street. Parked next to a 2012/13 TX Pro. Silver. Running Boards.

    Nobody around here was it?

Can you point me in the direction to these trails?? Very interested!!

I head to the gorge a lot over the summer, seems like I'm there every other weekend! I'm interested to hear about these semi - easy trails myself!

I've heard of some dead end roads that are kind of nice, Spas Creek Rd, Indian Creek Rd, & Sand Lick Rd. Any body have info on those?

Check out this link, maps n such are on the 2nd page:

Fixer is off of 11 and loops around to Bald Rock Fork rd. Its tricky if you have never been through it though, lots of old logging and oil access roads to get you disoriented. You also end up in the creek several times a few of those the road actually becomes the creek. So if you are not familiar with it, it can be a challenge just to get to the other end of it. Of course GPS can help with that. I haven't been to pocket wall in a long time, I don't remember the roads to it. I will have to ask a friend how to get there. That trail had some big old mud holes along the way, at least it used to.

I know i havent posted much but was always looking. I had to get rid of my truck which i didnt want to but had to. But i have a set of black weather techs and a full set of wet okole. They are black and charcoal with off road in red and white. I was thinking about asking $500 for both. Do y'all think that is a fair price or should i ask less/more?
