I think I'm gonna do Daystar spacers for now, 2.5" front and 1.5"rear. Basically just spacers that go in between my strut assembly and the strut tower. Thier only like $160.:D

From what I have read, IMHO I wouldn't do spacers. It makes the ride more stiffer, and messes up your front shocked. There have been alot of people on here that had had the shocked comepletly break off. Go with the 5100's, they aren't that much more expensive. Its going to be about 180 for both for mine.

Yeah, I've actually heard more good than bad about the spacers, but I'm lookin into other options too. Like FJ springs.

Thats just what I've read on here, but I really have no personal experience with either! Maybe its different with a 4Runner.

Basically stock. OME 882s, HD Dakars and nitrochrgers, TG front bumper, custom rear bumper, 4Xinnovations sliders, RAT skids, Softopper, 255/85/16 ST MAXX's on 16" steelies, 1" B.O.R.A. wheel spacers Scangaugae II, deck plate mod, grey wire mod,ECGS bushing, diff breather relocation, alarm mod, defrost w/o compressor mod, de-badged, sockmonkey beside decals.
looks like you guys fun. wish i could've been there this time. it was definitely an awesome day. great pictures too cliff!

wade, i have to agree with neil about the spacers. 5100's and an add-a-leaf seem to be a better way to go over spacers. spacers will give you a very harsh ride, which will wear out your front end components prematurely.

Yes it was a great day, it was just muddy enought to make it interesting. I took my dogs down and they went swimming and ran all day. They haven't moved off the couch at all today!

All the 4Runner guys use the spacers like crazy. I'd say 75% of the people on the 4Runner forum with a lift have spacers. Looks like Ill probably do the FJ springs and a 1" front spacer. I'll be doing the work at a friends shop (with a lift). Here is before/after pic of a guy with this setup. -Wade-

I would have done it more but that last run I was a little to close to the fence for comfort!

If that fence wasn't there I would have tried, but I wouldn't be to happy with the extra pinstriping had I slid into the fence!
