I am sure Neil was doing every thing he could to get it on there too! lol.

Earlier though that same Jeep made it all the way around Neil's place following us on the quads. I was impressed.

yeh we tried to figure something out for a few minutes but gave up pretty quick. lol
haha nice! ive been thinking about just getting an old yota pickup or 4 runner just for a wheeling rig. might be pretty cool. keep my current car now so i can pay it off.
yeh i was surprised i made it through the creek. last time Neil had to pull me out. i also turned around about 100 ft from the creek one time and went all the way back up that hill had some issues on one section with all the rocks but that wasnt too bad. im surprised my p.o.s. made it. lol

Its my buddy heep. I was impressed. He was going on all my quads trails and down thru the creek on the other side of the property. He as going places that qauds were squeezing thru. He tried that creek in 2wd and then couldn't get it in 4wd. then he realized his steering box was loose. He said he has had problems with the steering in that before. Believe it or not that Jeep has over 200k on the original motor/trans.

HAHAHAHAHA.... 1st gen??????????????????????????????? If I had the 2nd gen OR instead of the TRD Sport I would have made it!

I wouldn't mind having one either. Not as my daily driver but it would be fun to do stuff like this. The problem is finding one that hasn't been betten to shit and that actually runs well. Most of them are pieces!

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
miserably hot!! air conditioning on the ride home was auwsum. i chased a thunderstorm all the way home and cought up with it about 3 miles from town. lots of lightning...tired to get pics, unsuccessfully. got home at 11:25 after running in town to grab a sando. i holed up in the AC yesterday, barely even venturing outside 'cept for a grocery run to wally world.

that creek trail has some potential Neil...just gotta get the pinstripers out of the way. i think i could've followed the Jeep except for all the scratching and that steep bank dropoff...wheelbase woulda highcentered me. get busy on it so next time i'm down, i can wheel it! man, like two days with a little dozer down there and you'd have some nice trails.

even with the heat, i had a good time. it was nice to meet some of you in person.

supposed to cool off this week here. im hoping to get some work done on my paths this weekend. boss decided to give us Monday off for the 4th, and i took tues. & wed. off too for a mini-vaca :woot: the following four weeks is gonna be hell though. all kinds of people giong on vacation and we will be short staffed for prettymuch the next month...can't wait.:(

If I get some extra time in the next few weeks, I'm going to be going down and finishing things. I need to take about 2 weeks off work to get everything that is on my list done.
