I would be interested in going as it looks like a lot of fun but the 8 hour drive isn't all the appealing especially since I would have to work on that Friday till 5. It should be fun for those who go.

If I was going to do the 8 hour drive I would rather spend my time at the Lake or something. Just a little to far for me to drive for a weekend. If it was a little closer I would def. go.

mtnbiker2008 - where do you ride at? Have you been to the new trails in Devou Park?

Just wondering how good they are. England - Idlewilde is my favorite place to ride, but haven't been there in awhile. Last time I was there the tech course was ripped apart by a flood. Do you know if that's fixed? I rode Tower Park last night, it was ok, they have it ripped apart though.

I ride at East Fork and Idlewild. Have not gotten to ride at Devou yet. Might go this weekend to check it out.

Idlewild is my favorite by far as well. I was just up there a few months ago and everything seems to be ok. there was a huge tree down next to the rock wall. I am sure that is cleared now. I was talking to the guy that is building the new tracks (which are wicked fast and fun) and he said he would get it cleaned up.

I have yet to ride Eastfork, I've done trail runs on the MTB trail tho. I'd like to get out there one weekend.

There having an event at Devou this weekend. Races, grill-outs, and I believe prizes. Check out this link.

Eastfork is ok. Nothing really exciting. They used to have the raised planks for a while and some teeter totters, a few ramps, but now there isn't much of anything. I have not been too impressed lately. I have found that the trails are becoming a little overgrown as well.

Thanks for the offer but I have a Cannondale that I rode for about 6 months till I got my license. I'm probably going to be a little rusty till i get used to it again.

Someone need to start planning one a bike meet. I would but I'm not very familiar with the places people go.

Dates for the meet looks like its going to be 11-06. That seems to be the most popular date.
