So I got some new tires, Goodyear Wrangler TD. I've only put about 100 miles on them, but so far so good. Pretty cheap too, only come in one size though, 265 75 16

Yeah it was hailing at my house on my lunch break I took a picture, I'm not sure if you can see it or not. It was about the size of a nickle. Then to get back to work the storm drain was clogged up with leaves so the water was about 2 1/2 feet deep. It was a crazy hour.

Yeah I just drove around. Wasn't too much damage. I was surprised. A few limbs down here and there. nothing special. Our storm drain clogged too. I was out there in waiters with a rake clearing the leaves. haha

Same here the big ol' tree in my yard has been shedding leaves for a few weeks but this storm cleared out all the rest and piled them in front of my garage door. I hear Boone County didn't see a whole lot of damage. I was at work when it hit and it was pissin' down something fierce near Delhi.

Yeah as a matter of fact I'm looking at something like yours with the double cab and long bed. I'd be interested to know what your thoughts are.

I love it, I'm so glad I have a long-bed. It does have a really shitty turning radius so parking can sometimes be a little challenging, but you learn to get over it. You can also put a quad in a long-bed. If you have any questions dont hesitate to send me a PM I'd be happy to help.

HA that's exactly what I was going to ask. The reason I was looking at the long bed beside being more useful was to be able to load my quad and still shut the tailgate. I was wondering about the turning radius but no worries I can usually back into most parking spots so getting out is not too much of a problem.

The only other thing I wonder about is I am in a old house and the opening for the garage will just barely fit a 6' foot vehicle I am hoping that the truck will fit. The information I've been able to find tells me I got about two inches but sometimes those numbers can be skewed a bit.

    hey thanks for the info.

Turing radius def. sucks, but like I said you get used to it and I really dont even notice it now. I do put my quad in the bed, but I have to leave my tailgate open. I used to have a 660 Yamaha Raptor and that would fit in the bed w/ the tailgate closed. My new quad a Can-Am 650 Traxter (4x4 Utility) doesn't fit w/ it closed. So I guess it depends on how big your quad is as to if it will fit with the tailgate closed. I do park my truck in the garage. I too have an older house and my single car garage door is 8ft wide by 7 ft tall. I would say I fit inside the door with about 4 inches +/- on each side of my mirrors. The width is supposed to be 74.6 inches but I'm not sure if that w/ or w/o the mirrors open. I do have a small lift in the front 1.75 and 2 inch aal in the rear. With that small lift my truck is about 71inches tall, which is almost 6ft. The door opening of my garage isn't the problem its the length. My truck with the front bull-bar is 223 inches long. I think I have about 226 inches of clearance. So pulling the truck in isn't a problem for me, its making sure I'm as far forward as I can be. (I usually hit the wall w/ the bull bar to make sure I'm all the way in and so the door doesn't hit the bumper). IMHO if you haul stuff and can deal w/ the shitty turing radius go for the LB, I dont regret it at all.

Glad that isn't my house, I was lucky the only damage I had was the inside of my boat got soaked (thought the cover was all the way on and it wasn't) and all my neighbores leaves ended up in my yard.

Looking like I'm still good to go. Was and still am a little worried b/c of the upheaval at work. Got a new manager, one tech is looking to quit, he's slowing taking all his tools home.

Talked to the new manager about the date I had scheduled off on the calander. Told him, I got hired to late and can't get any vacation for a year, let me take a Saturday. Seemed pretty cool with it.

Damn...a week and a half, fuck thats close.
