Northern Nevada trailrun/campout

Anyone here have a set of volk t37s they want to maybe trade or part with? I'm looking to trade wheels/tires for another set.+/- monies . Here is my post from the wheel tires section

Thinking about getting out to one of the lakes around Jackson Meadow area… on Monday though.

 

I lied to you guys, but it was kind of a game time decision made late last night... With my entire house sick, including me, I figured it was a great day to go solo. I needed to check out an area I hadn't been to yet in my wife's deer area and glad I did, it was great country! The wind wasn't great, but the cool weather was. We need to plan a trip up there, maybe late spring/ early summer.

Got out for a quick overnighter with the family last night. We were planning on paddle boarding this morning but the wind wasn't cooperating.

In. Wife and kids too if it's a 3 day weekend or they are on spring break.

I'll have the Patriot by then so we will have a nice kitchen setup.

How big is that patriot? One route I'm thinking is pretty tight through the trees.

 

Hmmm. It's about 13ft long, 6ft wide, 6ft tall. Should track pretty well behind the truck...I'm picking it up in a few weeks and will have a better idea then.

 

That's not as big as I thought they were, that should be fine.

Hahahaha, it'll be more of the same!!!! One canyon isn't so much brushy... It's loaded with quakies, they don't move so easy!

Looking at the calendar and pics from years past, I was thinking mid May. If we end up with a real snowy winter we may have to adjust the route a little.
May 12-15 or
May 19-22.
Or the following is Memorial day. One less day us worker bees would have to take off, mountains will be more crowded though.

Oh shoot. Fall is a bad time for me to plan anything. Im consumed by hunting. Someday i would like to do a death valley run.

 

hunting sounds fun. I would love to kill a elk or deer. I have only hunted for pheasants once.
