The snow and ice are only gonna soften up and only get sloppier, we barely touched any on the trails

Im liking that. Give us some good pics. The wife and I frequently hike the adirondacks, maybe this summer we can get a few people together for a hike. I think the first one on our schedule this year is wright's peak. A good warm up for the season

We found some dirt roads and pretty cool camping sites. Instead of going hiking we decided to be lazy and just hung around the campsite all day. Here is a pic from the campsite. We stayed off of Floodwood Rd south of Paul Smith NY.

Nice view. The wife and I have been wanting to do some camping like that. I'm going to have to start shopping for a better tent. The one I have now is a cheap walmart special.

Nothing wrong with a cheap walmart special. One of the tents I recommend is the Coleman 6 or 8 person instant tent. I had one for a few years and it worked great. Quick and easy to deploy and take down. If you ever want to borrow the one I used in the pic you know where to find me. It's a Koppen back packing tent.
