Northern Virginia Roll Call

I'm off this thread for a few days and almost 50 pages.

 

My brother said it was great! Guess matter of opinions!

 

The Cove is west of Winchester in Gore , Va. Its a campground with its own range and trails.
As far as the rules... there wasn't even a RSO out there while I was there.
I think he is only is there on the weekends. There are steel targets set up at about 75 & 100 yards and pallets for posting paper targets,but you can also bring your own target stands if you want. No designated lanes,but there are shooting benches. There is a smaller area off to the side where you can do more cqb type training. If you're out there alone like I was,you can train as dynamic as want or go full on operator and live out your socom dreams or michelek trick shooter fantasies.
If there are other shooters present ; just follow the fundamental gun safety rules and use common sense and unstaffed range courtesies.
I had blast and will be going back whenever I can. IMO its the next best thing to having private shooting land in this area.

Well just sold the bestop...now to order my bed bars! Also guys I spent a better part of the day today cleaning up the truck and after washing everything I have all these lines going down both sides of my truck. Anyone know what would have caused this? Im really bummed about it.

 

Just glad my truck is white and not a dark color!

Nice pics! Looks like a fun trail. I definitely need to make it down there one day.

 

Grew up running and camping on that trail. It was the only one I knew about until I started wheeling with you guys.

 

Haha you're exactly right. He had been sitting there for about 20 minutes while I packed.

 

I washed mine with the hose some this morning and I have a few deep ones, even one on the tailgate somehow. I will do a full wash sometime this week and I know it will look bad but I had a blast so who cares

He says it's off a 2013 tacoma with a 6' bed, which is exactly what I need. I'm curious why it's so cheap....still going to try and buy it this weekend because this is a STEAL. Maybe even literally.

I'm gonna ask when he responds again, but I really hope that white one is for the Tacoma. That'd be clutch!!

 

Because he said 2 caps but only shows one picture and its Craigslist in Philly. For your sake I hope it is that exact cap. I would still offer less in person. haha

 

Yeah luckily PA honors my VA concealed carry permit, so I'll bring a buddy and a gun! Everything about the ad is sketchy, but it may be the deal of the century.

 

I like Philly better than Baltimore..
