It was a redo of the previous one we built, but yes, we did build it.

I am going to try this sometime soon, but I hear clay bar can really clean up the small pinstripes. But yea man, comes with the territory with having a wheeler over a maller. Atleast you can say that your truck gets out.

Yea man I embraced long ago that my fenders are gonna be scratched up. My truck def has pinstripes, but Im sure over time I will give it a shot with claybar. If nothing comes out of it, then that's fine too.

So has anyone here upgraded their speakers/added an amp with the stock head unit?

i have Pioneer TS-A1676R 6 1/2" speakers. But I will never upgrade the amp. If anything, Ill get another head unit, and bypass the parking brake thing, so I can watch movies while driving

I might have to come check out your sound sometime. I'm not necessarily against the current sound quality I just want to be able to get some more volume out of it because people in the backseat can't really hear anything when the windows are down, and I'm fucking deaf.

I have a Kenwood head unit, I'll probably change the front speakers to match and maybe throw some kickers in the back. I do need to hack my headunit though, I'd like to watch movies and use the touchscreen while i drive.

Im deaf too haha. I think the speakers helped, but I think the combination of both will help much more.

Im not sure you need to hack it. I think its a part that goes inline with the parking brake wire, that will let you watch movies. I cant think of the name yet. Its too early for me

As a general rule all you need to do is figure out what your parking brake connects/disconnects and then just wire the aftermarket parking brake wire to that

all you need to do is put it to a switch so you can cycle it so it acts like a parking brake. then you can watch movies whenever.
