Don't get frustrated man, this is a collaborative design that started with a few individuals. I wasn't on the same page until @Lots2Learn58 showed me his CB install.

Yeah, my cable just kinda hangs out in my bed, having a waterproof disconnect when not in use would be great. Right now its the cable and a 4 pin female connector.

It controlled the brake light on the cap, plus the cap dome light.

Yeah this is what I was thinking. Just weld up something basic with angle and put in some holes for straps and such.

Were these for use with a cap, or did you always use these?

Yup, I was taking apart a server rack at work. The room hasn't been air conditioned in months. Probably a lot worse outside.

I have no cap will be getting a soft top but I was basically bored so made 1 set out of 1/8 " and didn't think heavy enough so made another out of 3/16. probably don't even need them but it was fun to make. Only pain in the ass was working with basically 1 arm and my damn vice isn't anchored

    A thing or two...
Front alignments. If anything, I would install the front first as close to stock as I could. Then after the rear, I would raise the front to match and need to realign the front.
