Damn! FNG on a power trip sounds like to me. I'm pretty sure there are other things to go do than study someones tail lights. I've got 19 days left in this sh*thole country and 26 days before I get back to my truck. Days are starting to crawl....

That's some crap man. But just think, you are so much happier than he is with life. Poor guy, probably lives his whole life that way and he does it to himself. Fuck living that way! Don't let him get ya down, at least it wasn't a moving violation and can probably be thrown out (or, it would be in KY).

Hey guys. its been a while since i have checked in. been busy as shit the last 3 months. Does anyone know of a tire shop in the woodbridge/fredericksburg/quantico area that would have a 255/85 tire? i cant seem to find anyone that carries that size

Online is your best bet. Will be cheaper as well. Try discount tire direct or Amazon

Not always, my local Firestone was cheaper than online even before the cost of shipping and install. I'd have to say check around, sometimes there are deals to be had.

A shop can order you some too, but that might beat the price up.

I like them for solo fishing more than my boat (when I had it) because I could get into anywhere with it.

You know what a beginner set up would ball park for? $1000?? (yak, paddle, life jacket?)

    Try around $400.

Don't buy online, shipping kills that. Go to stores (gander's, dick's, etc) and look for sales. Or if you can buy the shelf model.

Brands that hold up well are Ocean Kayak, Wilderness Systems (expensive), Potomac, and Pelican.

That's just my experience with them. You don't need a fancy $2000 Hobie kayak to go fishing. But try to stay away from Perception, I don't like their stability issues. Some other off-brands are probably not worth the money.

Damn, that's not too bad. I may have to start looking more seriously into this. I have been torn between a yak or canoe. I really want a canoe but this looks like a cheaper option which might be a little more feasible. Thanks for the info Chris.

I would take that but I can't ever guarentee when I will be off. Even weekends aren't a guarentee these days. I'll just have to check out those online stores

Get a whole setup preowned off craigslist for a kayak. 300-600 for a full setup and might even find one with a fish finder/ depth finder on it already. I see them all the time. Lots are willing to give up the roof rack at that price too. They just want it all gone. - Barter too.
