    A thing or two...
I was in NM for too long and there were too many shady cops and just shady motherfuckers in general for me to give up my gun. The cops and the mayor where the biggest drug dealers in the little town I was in. If a cops asks if I'm carrying during a traffic stop, I'll tell them, but I'm not handing it over.

Looks great. The fit of those bedsides looks really good from the pictures.

For Va knives and tools are a little more lax, for knives most sizes can be carried freely(openly)on your person with no concern. When you conceal it is when it gets into legal grey areas.
As for in the truck, you're good to carry the tools you want.
I usually have a machete and several types of axes, depending on time of year in the truck for firewood.

That makes sense for your disposition. Yea man the fit actually was spot on with very minimal room to shift it. I think I lucked out as glass makers arnt really known for being consistently good.

So this happened, its broken in enough to know I still love driving everyday, glad I went with the 6spd, but need to get my suspension, bumper, and snorkel put on.

weird...an officer has never taken my weapon during a traffic stop. I've been asked if I had it , but its never been taken from me. You must of been getting pulled over ALOT for it to be annoying.

I use to be a cop in Georgia. Just so you know....they can't take your weapon from you unless they can articulate why you are dangerous. Just being armed is not enough for seizing someone's weapon. I know because our department actually got sued for that and it went to court. A lot of cops are jumpy around guns. When I would pull someone over, if they told me they had a weapon my response would be: "Good; so do I. I won't touch mine if you don't touch yours."

Now, if I get pulled over I always have everything they might want (ID, CWP, insurance, registration) already in my hand when they get to the window. Even though they can see you have a CWP on their computer, it is known to ALL COPS that if you hand a CWP to them then you are armed. It is much better than saying "I have a gun" (cause some cops are jumpy).

I only get pulled over once every few years, but I like to wait with my hands on the steering wheel for the cop to come to my window and ask for all of my papers, that way they don't see me reaching into the glove box and think I'm going for something else.

I had my firearm removed from my possession with my permission by Fairfax pd. I will never do it again. The officer either had very little training or was nervous when handling my firearm (a glock). I was extremely uncomfortable.

 :curls: :woot: Now comes the fun part of unpacking and figuring out where to put everything.

I know how you feel. I stopped to fill up the truck close to home last night, and I thought I was going down when I got out of the truck. The legs are feeling fine so far today, but I just woke up and haven't navigated the stairs.

Maybe it was the fact that I was in a college area which is when they would ask. You got me man, they were like this about something as a possible "rolling stop" through a stop sign, not like it was a wreckless pull over or anything. They would always ask..."are you carrying?" I would then state where it was, I wouldnt ever freely disclose that I had a weapon on me and would also have my items such as a registration and such ready as well. Def good to know then man in the future. This was also the Norfolk VA area so who knows, but those cops tried to pull people over for anything.

Glad to see you guys got it done although I had to bail early. How much longer was it to get moved in?
