So, a dip$hit this morning almost hits me right in front of my office building in Bethesda. I am taking a right on Woodmont from Edgemoor Lane and there was a pedestrian in the crosswalk so, I pause to let her complete her crossing. As I am about to accelerate said dip$hit proceeds to take a left on Woodmont from Edgemoor Lane...and literally cuts me off in the turn.

Here is where it gets good. I honk my horn and he brake checks me almost causing an accident. So, I give him another honk...and he stops dead in the middle of Woodmont with me behind him. Now, at this point I am a little upset...I raise both my arms in the international sign of "what is wrong with this guy". At this point he contemplates getting out of his Volvo...so much, that he opens the door partially and then closes it. At this point I was praying that he would get out of his Volvo...just to see what this dip$hit was going to do.

Apparently, at this point his sanity clicked in and he decided that getting out of his Volvo was not the best idea.

So, this is where it gets even better...he turns into my building's parking garage and proceeds to pull a ticket (not a regular) and I am sure he pissed his pants when I pulled in behind him. I followed him through 3 floors (on my way to my parking spot) and passed him when he parked...just shaking my head.

I love this city...only in the DC Metro can some dip$hit in a Volvo violate two traffic laws, almost hit a pedestrian, almost cause an accident, momentarily act tough, and then tuck their tail. I swear people in this city have lost hold of reality.

well I'll keep an eye out for NC plates. haha I'm getting a new project site in a month or so over towards 7 on the bacside of the mall so ill be all over the area. If you see some guy with a beard cheesin' and waving its probably me. haha

Oh, and about being a redneck - I'm pretty sure that people consider me one too and I've lived in the metro area my entire life (minus the 5 years I was away at school). haha must be my beard and love for flannel..

Trying to get the final list together of folks who are going to Harrisonburg for the meet tomorrow morning. The plan is to meet at the Sheetz in Haymarket off of 66 at 8 AM and then convoy down from there. We should arrive right as the festivities are beginning.

Add your name to the list so we know who to wait for!

Assuming someone in a Volvo doesn't kill you first....

Also, we're meeting at 8 AM. Fixed the post

I am pretty confident the Volvo driver will not be killing me...but, I did leave him an awesome letter on his windshield...citing all the laws that he broke this morning...for the win.

All four tires are flat, it won't start, and the brakes don't work? What a coincidence!

I wouldn't do that...golden rule. Real question though - should I bring the Tacoma tomorrow or the newly restored and delivered E28 M5.

If I'm not there by 8:10 or so, leave w/o me. My wife is sick and I may have to take my step daughter to work at 9:30. If so, I'll roll down after that.

Anyone in/around the Chantilly area? I'm moving there in a few months and would love to know a few things about the place.

What's up, guys?! So I've got some good news and I've got some bad news. Bad news first...I've got some somewhat-loud whining noise coming from under the hood. It's been going on for awhile now and it's not going away. Suggestions? I've got to get a hose and do the hose-to-ear trick to see if i can narrow it down. Not looking good though...hoping it's not the alternator. Good news....I've got my Duratacs in the mail the other day! They are sweet! And my SCS Stealth 6's and OME kit are in transit via UPS and should be here by the end of the week! Getting excited!
