Haha I know what kind of number 2 you meant... but no not yet... just a yearly checkup to make sure she is in good health

Nice! Glad you found a winter setup!

I really like the tires so far... they are quiet and ride really well.

And I have the midland 75-822 dual use cb and love it... I've had it in all my vehicles since I got stranded on a mountain and I REALLY could have used it on me.

Looks good. How are you holding your CB antenna forward?

Nice. I didn't have any issues last winter on the stock summer performance tires on my WRX, but a winter set isn't a bad idea.

    How goes the car search?

The sales guy said they had a 2018 dark gray limited wrx coming in late oct. He said they could get all the options i wanted since it didnt have a vin assigned yet. I told them to go for it and put a hold on it. They are giving me invoice minus $200, and all accessories at invoice. Only problem is they are trying to screw me on trade in value. The negotiations are still ongoing on that front. Once i pick up the wheels ill source a set of blizzaks or similar. Last winter wasnt too bad, but if we get some good snows i want to stay mobile in it. I debated on all seasons, but figured a good set of summer tires, and a good set of winter tires, would be better

Nice. What accessories are you getting? When the factory tires wear out, I'll probably replace them with performance all-seasons.

Sweet. I'm just glad gas prices are starting to come back down. I drove the WRX last week and paid $3+ per gallon. I just noticed today that it had dipped below $3 again and regular is under $2.40. I'm driving the truck this week. On Saturday, I'm changing the oil in it, and I bought another headlight restore kit to redo the passenger side. Hopefully, this restore will last longer than the last one, which didn't last 6 months.

It does! So that completes your lift right?

lol I took a 4" bungee cord and hooked it to the tip and then hooked it to a bed tie down...

It was only supposed to be temporary, but I went to the store with it on and it didn't move. So I am probably going to just leave it for now.

I measured my height (for parking garages) and I am 6' 4"

4" to spare for the parking garage at work

Also got Karen's table put together and got the garage cleaned and my tools put in the toolbox that I got from @fatfurious2

I'll see you tomorrow afternoon David! (I have the wheels in the truck ready to go!)

I can get some pics when I get home. I had it before I got the shell when I was in SC. It worked great for what I needed at the time. Its a great rack and the canvas is great and water proof plus has held its color since it is marine grade. I just need to replace the marine grade plastic windows front and rear or if someone has that ability it could be an easy fix for them. Now that I have the shell and I'm about to build a rack for it I really have no need for the bed rack and cover unfortunately. Plus it is taking up space in my garage. If there is no interest I will just build unistrut tracks on it and use it In the summer for my RTT instead of the cap so I have best of both worlds. I just think someone else could find it more useful if they are looking.
