@buyobuyo @Me. Projekt do you/have you ran mesh over the top of the IC? It worries me that the opening is completely open. I was reading that people have problems with bent fins from debris, bugs, and have even read that some dude hit a bird that went in the opening. I see they sell a mesh that fits right over the top of the IC. Might pick one up. Some have said that it restricts airflow a bit, but I think it would be a minimal loss compared to a bird strike or a stone happening to be flung in there.

meh. your chances of hitting a bird in that exact spot are minimal.... I never ran anything and my IC fins looked just fine.... I think maybe in 10 years you might see some imperfections from rocks and small routine road debris... but that's just my $.02

Good to know. I just get worried knowing its wide open. I see F150s with the eco boosts, and the lower valence where the front mount IC is completely uncovered. It boggles my mind how people arent getting rocks flung up in there and destroying them.

Anyone have All-Pro expedition leaf pack? Im looking at getting a new leaf pack to better support my constant 300LB+ load. They are pretty cheap. Any thoughts?

I know they are. Any other cheap options? Do you think standard duty are good enough? Maybe then I can just get them off @Lots2Learn58 if he still swaps his out

Yea, so i currently have 200lbs between the tent and the rack. Ill be adding about 50-100lbs of recovery gear, etc, to it permanently.

Ran a wide open front mount on my civic for years and never had an issue. Don't sweat it,especially with a top mount
