however, the Jeep crowd out there is legit and they actually go out to trails. the Toyota guys go with huge 6-9" lifts on 33s-35s on 20x12s with chrome everywhere.... and they meet at California Pizza Kitchen in Kapolei on Oahu every Friday night.....

not that I have ever been or anything.....

 

My second one has had zero issues. Not true for my 1st one...

It seems like the EARLY '16s had the majority of the issues... I never had ANY issues my '17

 

Interesting. So my issue looks similar but not as bad. I’m getting a crank timing code, original was p0114 which is exhaust bank b timing. They think it was the solenoid which they switched to bank a and the code followed the solenoid. They ordered a new solenoid and are replacing it, hopefully tomorrow. My truck has been in 3 times, first time the code went away before they could do anything.

I really hope this is the end. I’ve spoken with Toyota customer service and they offered the extended warranty which I already have. I’m going to talk to the GM at the dealership to see if he can do anything for me because corporate doesn’t seem to want to help.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing man.

 

Sounds about right. The first year of a new gen (for any vehicle) always has issues.

January 2016 taco. No issues.

 

Last time I was at Koons Ford they had 20k over sticker... Just absurd, fools and their money soon part.

 

They also had F250s that were well into the 70k range. When did full sizes almost double in price? I knew real estate was absurd here, never realized how much vehicles are affected too.

 

Yup full size trucks are very rarely below ~55K now a days. Once you get the "upper level" trim packages, easy jump to 60-70K.
