Which tires you put on? Its 65* right now haha. Im wearing shorts.

 

Damnit its always weekends that i have the kids. Would love to get out more, just dont have time when i have them.

 

I went with the Michelin X-Ice Xi3. Tire Racks performance tests ranked them nearly identical to the Blizzaks, and they're $20 cheaper per tire than the Blizzaks. I went with stock size (245/40R18). I'll pick up some new wheels comes spring to remount the tires that I took off.

 

I was debating between the blizzaks, michelins, and the hakkapa-something. The blizzaks have done great, im sure the michelins will too. The stock tires are summer rated with zero siping in them.

 

I personally don't know yet. I've only been to fish the lake. A couple of the guys in this thread could testify to the trails

 

They are easy. Somewhat tight and technical, but easy. Mostly "overlanding" stuff. If you dont like pinstripes, dont go.

There is a pack hanging around my house, I saw one in the yard over the summer. They are doing good at being heard and not seen.

 

Until next fall it would only be coyote hunting, but I would like to get you out there.

 

Completely new to the off road scene. I have a pretty much stock Sport. Would the peters mill or sleepy creek be any problem or would it be better to wait until I have the suspension lifts?

 

Peter's Mill is perfectly stock friendly. Parts of Sleepy Creek are not stock friendly at all, but if I remember correctly all of the "nasty" parts had short paths so you could drivearound.

 

All of the videos that I've watched of Peter's Mill Run looked as if you could run it in 2WD.

 

just passed a group of tacoma's...FJ cruiser's and 4 Runners on 66 passing Haymarket VA. .....must be a off road trip in process hmmmmmmmmmmmm
