    Awesome.

Now for some meet news. Every Monday night from 7 til it is over. There are hundreds of vehicles that meet at the Hard Times Springfield parking lot. That's where 95, 395, 495 intersect. Giant and K-Mart share the parking lot.

We should all start to meet there from now on. Wings, happy hour specials. Ours all there. Plus theta other food places right there. Chipotle, Popeye, panda express, are some of the other food eats.

Howdy all. Just thought I would drop buy and see how active the Tacoma folks out this way are. I will be moving to the area next month and working in DC. the wife and I are very active folks that love to off road and camp. We hope to meet up with some of y'all in the not to distant future. Are there any meets or trips planned any time soon?

Not calling this a bad idea at all. However, holding the meets in Springfield will push most of the folks that are out in west Fairfax County and Loudoun County due to a long drive.

I think we should look into having two meetup spots that we rotate between from month to month that will help in making the drives more reasonable for everyone here.

Just my .02 on the topic.

Sorry I did not see that post. Are there any trips or off-road meets besides every one just getting together in a parking lot? Can any of y'all recommend some nice areas that are only about a 30 min commute to the DC navy yard? So far we have been looking in Alexandria, but wanted to see if any one here had any suggestions.

There's really nothing closer than 2 hours from DC for any off-roading. Most guys go to GWNF or Rausch in PA for wheeling.

There's also red cloud off road, I was going to check it out a few weeks ago, but damaged the skid plate mounting points while trying to get the skid plate back on after some work and didn't feel comfortable going w/o on. I have a credit for a weekend there though so still want to go check it out some time.

Either way. I do the drive to you folks. Also, I drive to tidewater meets. Was planning to go to a MD meet soon too.

Distance is an excuse. If you want it, there's nothing in your way. My suggestions have not been accepted when I have made them. No stress...

I'll carry on as I have been.

Lol. Wings are awesome. Just get tired of them all the time and siting at a table inside. It's summertime, I wanna look at some hot women, maybe share a conversation with like minded individuals. Oh yeah, and brag about my truck when asked questions.
