The problem with the mx4 for the 2nd gens is that the rails they provide sit directly into the tacoma bed rails. Mobtowns tonneau brackets aren't really designed with that in mind (neither is KB voodoo) @Cody23 and I have been talking about it, I was thinking of something of a bolting plate that would go into the bedside - but I was going as far as removing the plastic bedside covers putting in a steel version and a bolting solution to that.


Which at some point going down this rabbit hole and I might as well say fuck it and just go bed rack or camper shell.

 

Nah I actually did! It may be awhile though as he's busy redesigning current product, and designing new stuff like 3rd gen high clearance, 4runner products, etc.

I will say that the cap life is friggin sweet. I don't think I'll ever not own one because of how handy it is, especially with windoors.
