with that said I have been talking to a guy in fayettenam about his cap that is for sell. it has windoors. His roofrack bars though looks like it is the cross bars that are directly bolted into the shell versus having tracks. I am going to be down there this weekend so hopefully going to link up with him. If it looks promising I might snag it, buddy of mine will store it until I can drive the truck down (taking the family vehicle down). one of Davids finds on the craiglist thread.

 

Bolted right in isn't too terribly bad! You could always unbolt and add tracks yourself, being sure to fill those holes with silicone. Or just leave it as is if you don't plan on having heavy stuff up there regularly, like a RTT or something. My cap I bolted straight through, but I have a reinforced roof. Not sure if I should have added tracks, but fuck it.

It's fiber reinforced. It's a contractor cap, but fiberglass. That's why the windows are soli, and also why it's made for a regular cab.

Of course! It should be getting painted next monday/tuesday and installed sunday may 6th. I'm pretty excited to be able to run square fogs and have an integrated light bar.

No, both sides just open up into the bed. I actually wouldn't mind that though, because then I could eliminate my need for drawers to hold my tools!

 

Interesting....the one I am looking at is just windoors, doubt the roof is reinforced....I just plan on slapping the tent cot up there for now (poor mans rtt) I got a go bag for tools that I use for work and deployments that i'd like to store back there.
