Yeah I'm not doing anything crazy off-road with my truck ... yet, so just using these as a last line of defense should an accident happen. I'm sure I'll upgrade to some heavy duty weld-on sliders with kickouts in the future. What kind do you have?

 

Anyone in the DC area have a URD supercharger, URD exhaust or Spec U exhaust? I would like to take a closer look and listen to the differences of the exhaust systems. Thanks!

Wish I could've gone but I moved into my new apartment yesterday hauled a 6x12 trailer all around the DC area but got everything moved in and now the unpacking commences.

 

Ahh ain't moving tons of fun!? You'll have to come out next time for sure. Fun trail.

 

Has anyone used a public or private scale for weighing their Tacoma? Is there a process for getting an okay or paying? I know of scales in Aldie and one north of Winchester. Anywhere else?

Are the big scales accurate enough to be useful for a 4500 to 4900 pound truck?

 

Also scales at Loudoun County Landfill south of Leesburg...not sure of their process if you're not actually unloading trash though.

Same with the Fairfax location right across from the Home Depot/Costco off of 29. I bet they won't charge you anything if you just tell them you want to weigh your vehicle.

 

I have some pics from the day trip to edinsburg (which I'll post when I get to the memory card). Good folks out there and the pace was great! Here's a link to my experience using Rhino lining on my steel bumper if anyone was thinking about coating their bumpers.
