I have the TRD S/C. I originally attempted the dealer-installed route and when I originally called around I got install prices at about the $1k range. When I called after I had the parts in hand all of a sudden everyone wanted 1500-1800 and at least a week to install it. No one would give me numbers and everyone claimed that they did not install very many of them.

I ended up doing the install myself and then had the truck towed to Ourisman Fairfax for the ECU flash. They knew exactly what I wanted and had me out of the dealer in less than an hour for 80 bucks. Honestly, the installation isn't very difficult, just tedious and takes a good 10-12 hours. The instructions that TRD includes are very thorough and there is a step-by-step guide that a TW member posted with his install as well.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions, I love my S/C now that I figured out all of the 'quirks' that it has.

yeah what gives it was like that at 430 yesterday afternoon, while it was still coming down, Dulles side was clean and damn near dry, toll side at least an inch covering all 3 lanes. And I had a controlled skid out to avoid some jacka** talking on their phone while trying to negotiate the on ramp to the toll road in Reston, then they just stopped after I had room to get by. Ridiculous, if you now you aren't comfortable in these conditions then why the F*** would you get on the toll road. Come on people know your limits. Sorry needed to vent a little

No need to apologize. I feel the exact same way. IMO if someone feels even the slightest bit afraid of the roads, they shouldn't even bother getting in the car. And the phone thing beyond irks me but I won't get into that now.

although on the other hand I had a blast cruising around watching these idiots get stuck and spinning the tires just trying to move forward.

I just cruised around for an hour in the am and same in the pm last night. Decided I was not going to help anyone I didn't know. Luckily didn't come across anyone or I fear I would have wavered from my decision. This morning, 9ish, was horrible traffic. Over 2 mile backup on 236 near the 95's. People should have taken that vacation day.

I have family in the mountains that are in a fiat daily with no issues

Anyone know a good place to get some wheels mounted/balanced? I've got some 16" Wheeler's Steelies coming in tomorrow and want to find a reliable place to get them put on, hopefully on Tuesday.

I can do it for you for a few bills. If your gonna spend the money I'd get the urd kit. More bang for your buck.

Haven't seen him on in a few days but this is from mid-January -

Pretty sure he's at the Tysons Corner dealership, might be worth hitting him up with a PM.(?)

Hey Mr. Skygear..........i know where you live :spy:

    i know, creepy....

but really, i was driving from my fiancé's folk's place in falls church, to the total wine, about a half mile from a certain grouping of town homes. looked over, and almost smashed a snow bank while staring and saying i know that truck!
