I was thinking about an ozone generator, but those are apparently bad.

Lysol disinfectant into the intake vent(whatever it is called that draws air in for the fan/AC) while the fan is running and maybe replace cabin air filter? Not sure if that’s the source but it wouldnt hurt.

Another thing to try is if you have an air purifier put it inside to run overnight.

Lysol is quite pricey too, I'll try it again probably. But it still smells bad, even with the air con switched off.

It's what the professionals use. You would lose access to your truck for a few days though.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.

I had a coworker who had a mouse die inside the blower motor of her hvac. Once they fished it out, they used a mobile detailer to do ozone treatment to get the smell out. He did the work while she was at work. Was done before she left.
Devin at Dominion Auto Detailing. I have used him before and he does amazing work. If you are in the NoVA area. Not sure if he goes to DC or MD

I haven't really decided - I am going to wait a month before I start making any moves to make sure this all clears up.

I haven't gotten my springs done yet, things have been crazy with work and family. More importantly the family part. So most of my time has been devoted to that.
