Hello. I'm a new member here, and living around Norfolk, Virginia, for now. My first Tacoma, and hopefully the last. I'm used to jeeps and motorcycles.

I'm driving ocean-to-ocean soon in my 2017 quicksand, to visit my best friend, fellow Iraq vet, and the only human I can trust on this planet for a Christmas reunion. NC outer banks to the pacific coast of Oregon. Over 3000 miles. It's kind of a big deal for us. We're both 100% service-connected disabled from the same battles, and not very social creatures. The VA has been running an experimental procedure on me, without anasthesia, and I need to feel alive again. Adventure and freedom are calling. I'm answering while I still can, on doctor's orders. I was told to share and try to be social.

Question:
I'm a member of Advrider motorcycle forums, where it's a tradition to share trip reports and photos. I was wondering if people here would be interested in that. I'm sticking to scenic routes, crossing mountain ranges, forests, prairies and deserts. I'm still deciding the best route, if you have suggestions. Truck is stock, off-road edition with the factory all-terrains, plastic buttons and bumpers. I bought it for this purpose. If anyone alongside the way would like to show me interesting spots, or have a beer and a sandwich, it could be cool.

It would kinda mean a lot.
