I love your truck, too! I also love mine. It will be a sad day when I have to part with it. This old gal has gotten me through so much...there's dust in my eye...

Next oil change will be over 200k miles!

I went to Koons to look at a 2008 T4r with only 80k on it. Pics made it look immaculate. Got there, whole pass side paint was fucked. Interior smelled like a burning tobacco farm and to top it all off it was mechanically screwed with either warped rotors or something with the steering rack (which I had a hint of looking over the carfax prior to going).

Fuckers wanted 18k for the damn thing just because of the mileage. I told them the car was crap and they’d never get that price, I hit them with a much lower offer just interested in seeing how much they’d negotiate. Didn’t want to budge in the slightest. And now I’ll never go back lol.

I have used Costco buying program as well, works very good. I know people who have used BJs auto buying service as well with good results. With my car it was listed as 500 over invoice. All accessories were at invoice, and because I ordered the car, I didn't have to haggle about dealer install charges. It was all factory installed.

I bought my 2010 from Koons in Tysons. I used costco buying program and it was easy. I went in with a 10 year old camry. I told the wife I wanted 3k for the car, wouldn't take less than 2500 before we got there. They offered 2750 so I didn't haggle. When the sales guy brought the truck around he said "I don't know why you want to test drive this one, it's a manual..." I laughed.

I think $25K would be decent. Or you could come in with 23500 and let him work it until 25000 if that is your goal.

I agree with everyone that 25k would be the goal but anything under 26 is good

Thanks for the input y'all. I have to admit, I feel drained after last nights experience at the dealership. I just want to buy a truck and have it be over.

True, but they want it to happen inside their dealership, so you give up and pay a grand or more than what you wanted to for their vehicle. I just got up and walked out. I don't let people talk to me like I'm a piece of shit.

Update: I'm going to look at it tonight. I hope we can make a deal work. Super nice guy. Unfortunately, it sounds like he paid too much for it. And still owes most of what he's asking for it.....:annoyed:

I'm sure you guys will be as happy as my wife when I finally find a truck and STFU about it!

So the wife and I volunteered to build a table for her parents for Christmas. Today's the day I finally deliver this sucker. For my first table I'm pretty happy with it. Definitely would do things differently next time but still a fun/exhausting experience.
