I missed the plans for the meet. Oh well... too cold to hang out afterward anyway. See everybody next time.

Very unlikely anyone would mess with you, safety inspection or law enforcement wise. Unless the cop or tech is already looking to get you for something else and you're an asshole

Although I find it funny VA prohibits spacer lifts.

ok, I know you guys told me at the meeting, but just wanted confirmation again.

Can I take the UniChip off (and sell it) and not throw any codes? mods are TRD v2 intake and TRD exhaust.
I dont care about the hp/mpg claims (from UniChip +35hp/25mpg). Im thinking I've just been putting premium gas in for no reason.
Next question, should I put regular gas? or mid grade? what do you put?

I have the unichip and it was programmed to support my CAI and exhaust. Selectable switch for regular or premium gas. There is definitely a noticeable increase in performance and acceleration on either setting. I leave it on optimal setting..

Yes you can remove it without throwing any codes. I had the TRD exhaust and intake on my FJ long before I added the Unichip. I also just ran regular gas unless I was going to switch in to the higher mapping mode which I did like once I think.

I don't know if any mods affect it (besides TRD Supercharger, in which case you must run premium) but, there is a big thread on gas types and gains (or lack thereof) for our trucks. No significant benefit for running anything above normal octane. Some engines (like ours) are designed to run on ~87 octane, so there is no reason to waste money putting in unleaded or premium.

    Thanks guys!
got the full OME lift. Dakar leafs, 885s, and 90021 struts. And Light Racing UCAs

Ive got to save a bit for new tires and wheels. My plan is around October. Im planning on 255/85/16 Cooper Discoverer STT Maxx and FN Five Star wheels in bronze, even though I dont like 5 star wheels. Im still deciding on that part.
