Nope, but I’m gonna do it anyways. Mine will do 5/16 which is good enough for me.

Edit: the way I look at it, I’m just adding, not replacing, so if the welds aren’t the strongest it’s not the end of the world. It’ll be an interesting learning experience welding so thick to so thin (I think the back of the axle houseing is 1/8”)

 

finally youre coming out. snow should start later i think thats why we are meeting so early.

Yeah, even with your 110v welder turned all the way up I don't even think you could blow a hole in the 1/8. The key will be getting it to penetrate the 3/8" enough to be a strong weld...but good luck with it.
