The 18s have the collision stuff too. Thats what I have

 

I have an 18 and have no issues with the toyota safety sense. The only thing id stay away from is the BSM. Ive heard those have issues with water.

 

I had an aal and the blocks. Sat just the right height but rode too stiff. The dakar heavys ended up at the same height but so much smoother.
I just tossed the stock springs with the aals in the metal dumpster at the shop

Have either of you had any problems when going off-road? Or is that when you
Turn it off?

 

It automatically disables in 4 low. I have not had any issues with it off road

 

I’m getting good at stacking them up!!

Drive and hope i dont die I guess. Has worked well so far

 

BSM also has issues with boulders.

 

I guess what I’m asking is does it interfere while wheeling?

 

Not at all

 

I know a guy that could use some extended u-bolts.

 

Never had an issue. Its pretty cool, especially with the cruise control how it just adjusts to the car in front of you and goes that speed (above like 25mph). Never had a problem offroad, and you can always turn it off on the dash

you cant turn off toyota safety sense. You can only turn off the adaptive cruise control and lane departure assist. In order to turn off toyota safety sense entirely, you need to unplug the front toyota safety sensor located under the toyota symbol, or under the pro "toyota"
