Saw this, Is this worth it?

 

I was looking at the same thing, i have re built them before, sort of a pain but this is a deal. However I think its worth getting a new set.

 

Thanks man, I saw they were cheap. My truck is stock so im looking to lift it soon. Been looking at fox or bilstein 6112. Looking for used/sale, trying to save some money

 

$1340 for the front and $320 for the rear, new. Less than half price seems very fair, especially considering they're not leaking or anything. If you're interested then I would get them. I'd just keep your stock shocks so you can mail out the fox's to get rebuilt whenever that time comes.

 

Im a noob if yall didnt know. Would i need anything else for this lift? How much would it cost to rebuild? @EatSleepTacos

 

You would need some sort of rear lift. That'd be an add a leaf, or a new leaf pack. Rebuild, I'm not sure. I'd recommend @AccuTune Offroad so you'd have to contact them.

 

Why just those 2 options?

I feel like for those prices there are better options. Higher than I would have thought for non-resi'd fronts

 

I just heard they are good, and wont break the bank

 

How much lift are you looking for? What do you plan to use it for? And whats your total budget?

 

2.5 -3. I dont want to change anything other than the suspension. 2k. The occasional off roading, but mainly pavement.

 

Maybe, fox 2.5 are a solid CO and $300 cheaper than a fox 2.5 with a resi. And $200 cheaper than Kings. It's a good "middle ground" CO in my opinion. And at a fraction of the price makes it more desirable.

 

Ok SO with extended travel fronts, you will need UCAs. And for that much lift in the rear you PROBABLY need a full leaf pack. An AAL wont be enough

OK, @EatSleepTacos and I have discussed and come to the same conclusion. This kit would be perfect, get medium dakars & no UCAs and I can sell you a set of used SPC UCAs with brand new ball joints and you will even out at 2k. I can install for you as well way cheaper than a shop.

I assume new tires aren't part of the $2k budget???

 

So i did a thing and may have suspension components for sale shortly. SPC control arms, 2.5 Saw C/o with 650 or 700lb springs and stock and beefed up lower control arms. If interested let me know.
