Also grabbed driveline angles. Looks like 3* shims should be spot on20200612_202914.jpg

I was wrong. Pinion is 4* up, so that blows my working angle to 10*!

So really I need 3.9* shims...might try the 3* and if necessary mess with the CB drop a la washers to dial it in if necessary.

Just trying to get rid of this terrible audible grinding out the rear end

i wanted to make it up with some daylight left to get camp set up. Plus it’s fun going fast. I’m driving back down in the morning to meet the group and will cruise up and take our time.

I was going to with joe but he had to work late today, so he’s meeting up with the group tomorrow. Rather than kayak alone I’m gonna go meet up with them.

Is that the open area at the top? We camped just below it when we took the campers up there. We sat up there at night to catch a meteor shower

It’s the area below it, about 20 minutes before you hit the top. It’s called meadow knob. It’s a better layout for more trucks

    Looks identical.

I'm not sure I could camp up there by myself. I have an overactive imagination.

It’s weird the psychological affect of camping alone. You feel safer if there’s even one other person there in another tent when in reality it makes zero difference.

We came up the Dunkle hollow/ Switzer lake route. When we got to the top it was pouring rain. I assume it was the top as everything seemed downward when we left.

    Fun adventure

If that one other person is a slow runner or tastes better it makes a difference in my mind.

Got my baofeng handheld GMRS today, this shit is next level compared to a walky. I finally figured out how to program it thanks to a nice young man on youtube who showed me the light. I should be good to go, will try and ping you guys on the way to Sheetz tomorrow morning to see what kind of range it gets. Now I gotta finish packing camping stuff that hasn't been used in a few years...can't wait!
