Nah. Just some speed nuts, u-nuts or whatever you call them.

The cut out is for the oil pan drain plug. The oil drains straight down.

Lol. I have no idea! It looked as though when the song started the open end was down. But by the time it was over it had tuned turned counterclockwise a bit:rofl:

Lol no, no one else does. It’s a horrible design imo. One good smack on a rock and it’ll collapse up into the diff.

Other than the ease in changing the oil, I can't remember why I decided on RCI. It may have been price. I mean, I'll never be crawling like you do because daily driver, so it's been holding up to my satisfaction. I've smacked it a few times on the Flagpole. Just knocked some powder coat off.

No I honestly have no idea

Yeah it’s am improvement over stock for sure. I think they’re so popular due to low cost (they’re always on sale) and availability. Goes back to what Joe B said earlier, people don’t want to wait.

Does RCI not have lead times like the rest? I assume they do provided there’s no stock on hand wherever you get them from.

Don't quote me on any of this, but I don't recall waiting for long on any of the skid plates I've ordered from them. Your best bet is to contact them.

This was definitely a factor for me.

The few times I've taken the truck off-road I had serious anxiety because of the stock plate. I might go down the Mobtown route at a later time, but had I ordered from them I wouldn't get anything till the end of the summer. For now, at least I have something other than sheet metal protecting my pan and diff when climbing up mountains.
