Yea, that's interesting how it's a manual lift operation. I like things that are simple, less things to break.

I will definitely buy another kwiklift for the next property that has the space for it along with a solid ground. been trying to find pictures of it in action but have no luck.

I've had a Quick Jack for a few years now. So far it's seemed pretty solid and safe. I never get under it without the mechanical locks in place and use it mostly for Tire Rotations and Brake work. If I'm working under the truck I usually still have the tires on so maybe I wouldn't die if it came down somehow?

I had a lacerated liver and the imprint of a bolt head on my chest for some months.. ground clearance was 8.5 inches on the truck and me laying on the ground was 11.5 so at least 3 inches of possible compression. so with your tires and the springs and weight of the truck you will just get turned into a big squishy human reflector ball.

Well... I don't really feel much like wrenching under my truck now. Sorry to hear that happened to you.

I was looking at Quick Jacks a few years ago. I didn't think it would get my truck or my wife's Jeep off the ground for a tire rotation but I guess I was wrong.

Anyone want to help me throw a cap on my truck? Got a care package from RLD I'm picking up tomorrow evening.

I’ll come to you lol... gotta pick it up next to Jiffy Lube Live so not far.

Friday it’ll be here in Reston... just renting a trailer for tomorrow and I’ll dump it in my building garage if I can’t get help getting it off the trailer.

Just realized tomorrow is Thursday. I can help, but I won't be home until around 8pm. If it's not too late, I'm happy to help.

Looks like I'll be picking up late after work anyway so that would actually work... would be easier to get the crate to the dump with the trailer on Friday too instead of breaking it down in the bed. I'll shoot you a PM.

Actually going to tag @ilubtimmyhos too because I think he wanted to take a look at it too... think he was going to rig up something himself instead though.
