I would absolutely reduce the rubbing. Maybe not totally eliminate it but greatly reduce it.

    That's what I thought. Thanks.

Well in that case, I'll have some 1.25 bora spacers for sale if anyone is interested. They were installed by @EatSleepTacos himself in Feb of 19 w about 3k on my truck so have roughly 20k on them.

Thought about 30 or so roman candles strapped together to go off like a MLRS type thing.

    Interested. Let me know.

    Nice. Do it!

Talking MLRS (reminiscing).. in the Gulf war, We set camp for 2 days about a click behind a battery of M109's right before the ground war started. That afternoon (of day 1) a Humvee shows up to our AO, and says that a battery of MLRS's will be setting up a click, click and a half behind us. Great, awesome, holy shit.. No sleep for anyone with all the noise and concussion from the 109's firing and the light show from the MLRS. that night. Day 2 and night is a repeat of constant firing.. everyone sleeps like a rock.

Hi All, does anyone have a shop recommendation for installation of the Anytime Camera kit and Rigid Ditch lights? I’ve done the majority of the Mods on my Taco, but when it gets to anything electric I’ve began to bulk and these two pending mods are just sitting here.

Running into issues on the driver's side with my slider install via the frame clamp. Can't tighten it because the welded washer isn't long enough to catch. Ideas? IMG_20201016_162613.jpg

It looks like there’s dried mud getting in the way of it.

That was my thought is well so I cleaned it out. Ended up just putting something in the way so that I could tighten it down.

@EatSleepTacos could you confirm that this is how it's supposed to be? Looks a little funky to me.IMG_20201016_170904.jpg

Looks fine as far as I can tell, as long as it’s nice and tight. It’ll handle the rotational forces that it’s designed to.

Seen this and was curious to what it looked liked on mine.

The add on angle iron from the factory has some goo around it (silicone). Also the dang thing isn’t exactly bent at a 90* angle. plus it looks to be set back off the outer most side of the frame, some.

What’s going on guys, I’m trying to gauge any interest locally in some KO2’s. I have 4 265/65/18 with 5,000 miles on them. I’m open to any suggestions on how to move these, looking to pick up some 285’s.

Mine ended up looking the same as yours. I had the same thought that they didn't look quite right, like they need a spacer or something, but they're in there tight. You'll forget about them after a day or two...

Edit: FYI these replace the previous beam clamp design that are in the written directions and installation video. I couldn't really get a feel for how they worked from the directions, curious what was changed.

I vividly recall my stupidity as a teenager doing this exact same thing only in the woods. Luckily the projectile missed any of us there and did some serious damage to a tree instead! I recall someone mentioning a while back that it's amazing we're still alive after all the stupid shit we've done.:beavisd:
